AREA ATTRACTIONS

The City of Burlingame's recreational facilities and open space areas provide its citizens with enjoyable and diversified leisure hours year-round. The pleasant, sunny climate is always temperate and the city’s restful, tree-shaded parks, along with the nearby bay, ocean, and mountains, assure recreational opportunities of a wide variety. Lovely homes on tree-lined streets have made Burlingame the “City of Trees.”

When it's time to venture out, it's an easy drive to all the Bay Area has to offer: the activities, sites and dining of San Francisco; the Stanford Shopping Mall; and, for more adventurous spirits, Great America Theme Park is close by. If it's a sports fix you crave, take your pick of a Giants or A's game, or, for the football fan, the Raiders or the Niners are a short drive away.

Coyote Point Museum
The Museum illustrates the beauty of the natural world and explores the relationship between humans and the environment. Along with a 8,000 square foot Museum, the grounds include Wildlife Habitats, a walk-through Aviary, and Gardens. The surrounding recreation area offers playgrounds, picnic facilities, a marsh beach and walking trails.

Pez Memorabilia Museum
A storefront with two rooms open to the public, display cases and racks loaded with the popular candy dispensers. But worth a stop if you're near San Francisco airport -- it's only a few miles away.
