College
of Southern Idaho
Located on Falls Avenue in Twin Falls, the college is renowned
as one of the fastest growing institutes of higher learning in
the state.
The Herrett Museum, located on the CSI campus, displays Native
American artifacts such as Hopi Kachina dolls and 12,000-year-old
Indian relics. It also sponsors many permanent traveling exhibits.
The Expo Center hosts indoor rodeos, farm and recreation vehicle
shows and livestock expositions.
The Gymnasium seats 3,500 and serves as a site for many community
events.
Fossil Beds National Monument
Located west of Hagerman on Highway 30, this area is renowned
for its archeological finds, including the oldest prehistoric
horse in North America. Information and tours are available in
the Hagerman Valley Historical Museum, open Wednesday to Sunday,
February to December.

Shoshone Falls
Located on the Snake River, the falls have been called the "Niagara
of the West." Take Highway 30 to Shoshone Falls turnoff.
Shoshone Indian Ice Caves
Native American legend tells of an Indian princess named Idahow
being buried in the ice of these caves. Open for tours, a museum
is also at the site, located 17 miles north of Shoshone, Idaho,
on Highway 75.
Snake River Whitewater and outdoor adventures
Magnificent scenery, wildlife and geological wonders on Snake
River adventures. Idaho Guide Service, Inc., offers a multitude
of half- and one-day trips for adventure, education and fun. Paddle
your own canoes, kayaks, and rafts. Or, opt for educational adventures
in the field on geology, biology and history of the Snake River
Plain and Canyon, including the Hagerman Fossil Bed National Monument.

Soldier Mountain
This downhill and cross-country ski area is located on Highway
20, north of Fairfield. It also contains the Little Smokey Snowmobile
area.
South Hills
Located in the Sawtooth National Forest, south of Twin Falls,
the area offers both summer and winter recreation.
Stricker store and home
This restored structure is located in Kimberly, on Highway 30,
and dates back to 1865 when it was a post office and polling site.
Thousand Springs Scenic Route
This beautiful 20 mile area is located on Highway 30 in the Hagerman
Valley. Water flows into the valley from snowfields high in the
Montana and Wyoming mountains. The Big and Little Lost Rivers
in Eastern Idaho also feed this valley.
