DIRECTIONS:

From Austin heading north on I-35 take the 293-A exit marked US Hwy 190 Killeen/Ft. Hood. Proceed west on Hwy 190 to the WS Young Exit. Turn Left on WS Young and proceed approximately one mile to The Shilo Inn. We are located just past the Killeen Convention Center.

From Waco heading south on I-35 take the 293-A exit marked US Hwy 190 Killeen/Ft. Hood. Proceed west on Hwy 190 to the WS Young Exit. Turn Left on WS Young and proceed approximately one mile to The Shilo Inn. We are located just past the Killeen Convention Center.

From Copperas Cove heading east on 190 take the WS Young Exit. Turn Right on WS Young and proceed approximately one mile to The Shilo Inn. We are located just past the Killeen Convention Center.

Killeen is called the Home of Fort Hood. Located near the center of Texas and adjacent to Fort Hood, Killeen is one of the prettiest cities in all of the great state of Texas. Two man-made lakes, Belton and Stillhouse Hollow, nestled among the hills and bluffs, not only add a peaceful beauty to the land but also provide excellent swimming opportunities. Belton Lake Outdoor Recreation Area (BLORA) is located on the Fort Hood military reservation but open to civilians as well as military. Nearby Fort Hood, two outstanding museums are available to visitors. The museums, with displays of weapons, uniforms and other artifacts, trace the histories of the two divisions, the 4th Infantry and the 1st Cavalry, through peace and wars.
