Three Crowns Golf Course is built on a former Amoco Oil Refinery site in Casper, Wyoming along the North Platte River. The golf course is built atop a remediation project that will be ongoing. The whole site is known as the Platte River Commons which will comprise a golf course, business park, jogging trail, and parks, is about 350 acres in total.

HISTORIC TRAILS EXPEDITIONNS
Travel in beautiful Contestoga wagons, back in time to the 1800's
when Casper was the "main street of the Continent."
Photograph wildlife and scenery as you capture the wild West on
one of ten expeditions, which range from four hours to five days--for

HUNTING & FISHING
Casper attracts hunting enthusiasts from around the world.
Whitetail deer, mule deer, antelope, black bear and mountain lions
are all found within the confines of Natrona County. Hunters
also have access to elk, moose, wild birds, and bighorn
sheep.
For anglers, Casper offers both lake and stream fishing in abundance.
The North Platte River, Alcova and Pathfinder Lakes boast rainbow,
cutthroat and brown trout as well as other game fish.

MUSEUMS
Fort Casper Museum and Historic Site. Museum features cultural
and natural history exhibits of Central Wyoming. Living

Reconstructed Fort buildings on the original location of
Platte Bridge Station open May through September.
Nicolaysen Art Museum. Presents the work of artists with
local, regional, national and international reputations.

Tate Mineralogical Museum. Located in the Tate Earth Science
Center of Casper Mountain Road. Houses an extensive collection
of jade and other minerals found in the Casper area and various

Werner Wildlife Museum. Features Wyoming's diverse wildlife,

SHOPPING CENTERS
Casper contains numerous shopping centers, a mall and downtown
shopping area which feature large department stores, specialty
shops and a variety of retailers eager to please. The Eastridge Mall (largest mall in Wyoming) is just steps away.
SUMMER RECREATION SITES
Alcova and Pathfinder Dams. The lakes appeal to anglers,
campers and water enthusiasts who enjoy magnificent scenery and
cool water. Both lakes are served by marinas with pontoon
boat rentals at Alcova. The two lakes are joined by the
beautiful Fremont Canyon.
Edness Kimball Wilkins State Park. Six miles east of Casper,
this park has a walking path, river access for fishing, a canoe
launch and picnic facilities.
Braille Trail on Casper Mountain. The Braille Trail, built
by Casper Loins Club, allows the sight impaired to experience
nature firsthand. Located near Beartrap Meadow, the Trail
is a treat for the sighted as well.
Garden Creek Falls. At the base of Casper Mountain, in Rotary
Park, the falls have picnic areas in a beautiful forest setting,
only 15 minutes from downtown.
Community Recreation Center. The center offers many activities
for fun and fitness including a wading pool, basketball, racquetball,
tennis, softball, horseshoes, jogging and a weight room. Call

WINTER ACTIVITIES
Alpine Skiing. Hogadon Ski Area sits on top of Casper Mountain,
only 11 miles south of Casper. The ski area has two double
chair lifts, a Poma lift on the bunny slope and over 60 acres
of groomed trails. With a variety of runs which appeal to
beginner and advanced skiers, Hogadon promises a fun-filled day
for visitors. On-site equipment rental available.

Cross Country Skiing. For explorers wanting a more rustic
outdoor experience, Hogadon and Casper Mountain have miles of
groomed cross country ski trails. This is an excellent opportunity
to view wildlife such as mule deer, fox and an occasional elk.
Snowmobiling. Casper Mountain and the surroundings Medicine
Bow National Forest have over 60 miles of groomed snowmobile trails.
WYOMING LOOP TOURS
From Casper, explorers can travel to a number of world renowned
sites by following Loop Tours around the state. Devil's
Tower, Thermopolis Hot Springs, and the beauty of the Big Horn
Mountains will provide unforgettable sites and give any explorer
a true taste of Wyoming.
