SHILO INNS was founded in 1974 by Mark S. Hemstreet, and now has more than 30 convenient locations in seven western states and Texas. Shilo Inns provide limited service facilities, with many of the in-room free amenities of the Shilo Suites category. Two prime examples are the Shilo Inn at Helena, Montana, with 48 units, and the Shilo Inn, Tacoma, Washington, a 132-room property. Shilo’s properties include a wide variety of free amenities, such as microwaves, refrigerators, coffee makers, wet bars, ironing units, data ports, voice mail, pool, spa, sauna, steam room, fitness centers, airport shuttle, bus parking and guest laundry facilities. All locations are dog friendly.


Shilo Inn Suites target a broad segment of the travel market offering many free amenities. Deluxe limited-service properties have a full wet bar, refrigerator, microwave, ironing units, in-room coffee, hair dryers and in-room first-run movies, comfortable work stations with a data port along with many other attractive room amenities. Meeting and conference facilities as well as pool, spa, steam, sauna and guest laundry are standard additional convenient amenities provided at most Shilo Inn Suites properties.


Shilo Inn Hotels include the many free amenities of the Shilo Inn Suites Hotels. The Shilo Inn Hotel and Conference Center in Yuma, Arizona, for example offers 135 spacious rooms with some kitchen suites, as well as a full-service restaurant, lounge, meeting and banquet rooms and exercise fitness centers, swimming pools, spas, steam and sauna room.


Shilo Inn Suites Hotel includes meeting, banquet, and convention facilities, with superior restaurant services offering delicious food. Additional free amenities include exercise fitness centers, swimming pools, spas, steam and sauna room and valet services. These deluxe, full-service hotels are generally considered the most attractive in their respective markets, such as the Shilo Inn Suites Hotel near the Portland International Airport that offers 200 deluxe suites, an elegant restaurant and lounge and 500-person conference center.
