    The Astoria Riverfront Trolley is a seasonal heritage-trolley service along a section of former freight railroad and using a diesel-powered generator on a trailer to provide electricity to the streetcar.
    Explore marine transportation from the days of dugout canoes, through the age of sail, to the present. Watch a dramatic 12-minute film introducing the history of life and commerce on the Columbia River and including the dangerous work of the Bar and River Pilots. Walk the bridge of a World War II warship, marvel at the 44-foot motor lifeboat plowing through a wave in a rescue mission. Participate in four interactive and hands-on exhibits, including taking the helm in a tugboat wheelhouse.
    The Astoria Aquatic Center uses 200,000 gallons of water in four pools; the main pool, recreation pool, spa pool and kiddies pool. There is a water slide and lazy river, and also a fitness room with weight machines and free weights. In addition to men’s and women’s locker rooms, there are family change rooms for those with small children. The center is ADA friendly throughout. The Aquatic Center has a Snack Bar/Concession Stand.
    The Astoria-Megler Bridge, which was formally dedicated August 27, 1966, stretches 4.1 miles from Astoria, Oregon, across the mouth of the Columbia River, to Point Ellice, Washington. Its construction was an impressive feat. The bridge’s main span is 1,232 feet in length, the longest “continuous truss” in the nation.

    Fort Stevens was the primary military defense installation in the three fort Harbor Defense System at the mouth of the Columbia River (Forts Canby and Columbia in Washington were the other two). The fort served for 84 years, beginning with the Civil War and closing at the end of World War II. Today, Fort Stevens has grown into a 4,200 acre park offering exploration of history, nature, and recreational opportunities.
    Tiki Charters in Astoria Oregon provides quality salt water fishing trips and Oregon coast deep sea fishing trips in the Pacific ocean, and fresh water trips in the lower Columbia River (Columbia estuary) Buoy 10 near Seaside Oregon for Chinook Salmon, Coho Salmon, Sturgeon, Tuna, Dungeness Crab and numerous types of Bottomfish including Halibut, Flounder, Lingcod and Sea bass. Buoy 10 Salmon fishing is red hot August-September "Book Early". We have three well maintained charter boats (34 to 40 foot).
